hey all

well, today has been a bit of let-down...

pottered around in the morning and then went to yoga - felt great as i haven't been for a week as i've been so busy. then planned to go over to a roof-top bar to meet the others before heading down to central park to see a free gig by jack penate and the xx... but that didn't happen...

i decided to stay home to apply for a design job that's going at simon & schuster, so i needed to write the cover email, jiggle around my cv and get together some cover designs to show - that ended up taking way longer than i expected and then i had to do some laundry - boring but necessary...

so by the time i had finished doing all that the others had left the roof-top bar and had headed down to the gig. zoe texted me saying that the queue was too long, the gig was full and that they weren't letting anyone else in. i decided to head down there anyway but by the time i got near to the park zoe called and said that the others had decided to call it a night and had gone back to where they were staying...

zoe and i had been waiting to see a movie called salt that came out about a week ago so i suggested we go and see that. we met up and went to see the movie - what a load of nonsense - enjoyable - but so far-fetched it was just laughable really.

so, i've just left zoe and come back to the apartment - time to draw a line under today and get an early night...

last week at search & care this week - it's going to be hard to say goodbye to all my lovely clients...
