harlem shuffle

hey all

i'm gonna try to make this quick so that i can get an early night... i am beyond tired this week...

only had 2 appointments today - walked daisy dog this morning for lois - this is a weekly ritual, every thursday morning i have to drag daisy along to begin with and when she realises i mean business and that we're gonna walk not go back home - she's a dream! she doesn't get out much as her owner has some mobility problems. but i've been walking her an extra block every week - we walked 9 blocks today and it'll be 10 next week!

then i had a big gap in my day - filled it with lunch and calling up clients to try to cram them all in to next week - my last week at search and care... weird!

then i went off to see tina in the afternoon - italian lady - an ex-hairdresser and very funny - we get on brilliantly and have such a laugh! today she was showing me photos of her from the 70s when she was pretty hot stuff and had men queuing up! she's very cool and a little bit crazy (italian style!)

then i went and got my nails finished off - had half a manicure/pedicure earlier this week but had to leave before they did the nail varnish as i had to dash out for the evening. so went and had french on my fingers, dark grey on my toes.

then went off to a meeting for all 11 of us... only 5 of us turned up...

then steve and i dashed off to jump on a bus to get up to harlem to see gil scott heron play a free gig in marcus garvey park. so we get there to find out we've missed the whole set, but he's just about to come on for the encore - so we managed to see him play one song... i was pleased with that but think that steve was a bit pissed off!

decided to make it an early night and jumped a bus back down to the apartment - getting some pizza on the way!
