hey all
well, i'm finally getting round to posting on the blog! yippee!
it's sunday evening and i have around 10 minutes before i'm out for dinner at the diner on my corner - so i'll make a start now and get back to you again soon!
it's been a crazy week so far, it is unbelievably hot here, which is incredibly tiring and impossible to do anything quickly...
it's not helping that i don't have the internet in my apartment, so i've not been getting out to my local starbucks (there must be around 4 different ones, each within 2 blocks!) to email.
work is good, but difficult and i got dropped right in the deep end, there was no messing, we got right down to work on monday morning and i've been pretty flat-out busy since then.
i'm gonna try to do a diary of my time here, obviously not right now, i'll get back to you with that.
i'm moving apartments on thursday, and in the new apartment i will have internet - thank god! then i can start blogging properly!
needless to say, i have already put in: 5 days work, plenty of shopping, quite a bit of art, lots of coffee, a few beers and a comedy club! it's all been fun, but hot!
